Review by hotel critic
I recently had the chance to escape to the Nouvo in Bangkok for some much-needed relaxation, and I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. Nestled along a serene canal and just a short stroll from the vibrant Khaosan Road, this hotel strikes a nice balance between access and tranquility. The rooftop pool was a highlight; lounging there provided a lovely view of Bangkok's old city while I sipped on a refreshing drink. I indulged in a treatment at the Sala Spa that left me feeling rejuvenated, and the prices were very reasonable compared to other places. Plus, the spacious wellness center was equipped for a proper workout post-massage. While my room overlooked a neighboring building, I appreciated that it felt cozy and well-maintained. Breakfast was a satisfying affair, offering a mix of cereals, fresh fruit, and some intriguing Asian dishes to kickstart the day.
